Gemmi Galactic is a silly space babe who lives in a glittery vortex of scifi, horror, fantasy, and fetish!
Gemmi Galactic landed her Mothership in Austin, TX in 2010 where she studied under Coco Lectric at the Austin Academy of Burlesque. She has been performing clever and geeky burlesque, full of fun characters, sensual and silly storytelling, and a neo-classic blend of styles ever since.
She founded Head Over Heels Burlesque in 2010, then rebranded as Frisky Business Burlesque in 2012, was a cast reader, turned producer, of the Austin Naked Girls Reading from 2013-2014, and c0-founded the Geekgasm Revue in 2015. In 2016 Gemmi was an Austin Chronicle “Best of Austin” Finalist for Best Burlesque Performer. She began teaching at the Austin Academy of Burlesque in 2018, and started The Galactic Salon in 2023.
Gemmi has performed in 19 U.S. burlesque festivals and cosplay conventions, and is now the Co-Producer of the prestigious Texas Burlesque Festival.

Modeling
Gemmi has been modeling since 2009. She has worked with some of Austin’s best photographers to develop her diverse portfolio. In addition to figure modeling for Austin Community College and The Contemporary Austin art classes, she has been in front of the lens for Steve Dement, Lucas Brilliot, Bad JohnPaul, Shawn Collie, Ricardo Acevedo, Sheeanna Singer, JuJu Smith, Edward St. Joseph, Andy Rester, Chris Clark, Rod Nunley, Damian Schillaci, Wil Dunham, Clayton Hodges, David Oliveras, Hill Country Pin Up, Hello Darling, Lucky Devil Pin Up, Brian Winter, Loghry Photography, and Fernie Renteria.
Burlesque
In 2010 Gemmi began studying the art of burlesque. After consuming all the literature and film resources she could find, she enrolled in Coco Lectric’s classes at the Austin Academy of Burlesque. In 2010 she started the trio, Head Over Heels Burlesque, with whom she produced popular semi-monthly shows at Elysium Nightclub for almost two years. Late in 2012 HOHB rebranded as Frisky Business Burlesque, and continued semi-monthly productions at Elysium. She has also worked as Co-Producer for the Geekgasm Revue nerdlesque and other one-off productions.
Miss Galactic has performed at the Texas Burlesque Festival, the San Antonio Burlesque Festival, Philadelphia Burlesque Festival, Spanksgiving Burlesque Festival, San Japan Anime Convention, Realms Con, and Anime Austin. She’s also been booked in productions by the Bat City Bombshells, the Jigglewatts, Ginger Snaps, Delia Dread, Sabra JohnSin, Matthew’s Easter Circus, El Circo Bandito, Houston’s Dem Damn Dames, Viva Dallas Burlesque, Monday Night Jammie Jam, as well as multiple live-music performances with Copa Kings and the Raindoggs, and was a regular cast member of Naked Girls Reading for two years. She’s graced the stages of Antone’s, the Highball, the Parish, Club de Ville, Spider House Ballroom, the ND, the Beauty Ballroom, Scoot Inn, Hole in the Wall, the Marchesa Theatre, Elysium, Numbers Nightclub, and Maggie Mae’s Gibson Lounge. She can be seen at venues and events all over Austin and beyond.
Acting
Gemmi started appearing on screen in 2013. Her filmography currently includes two music videos, a major event promotional video, and a short film. She hopes to continue to grow her on-screen experience.
Heart of Horror TV
In 2014 Gemmi was asked to join the hosts of Austin Horror and took charge of the rebranding as Heart of Horror TV. In addition to acting in short sketches, she also did Press coverage of film festivals, conventions, film screenings, and other related events for the show. Her connection to HOHTV ended in the fall of 2015.
